Ben Ruffman is President of Production and a partner at Unified Pictures, overseeing project evaluation, acquisitions, film financing, corporate capitalization, and production. His experience structuring independent-film financing gives him a practical understanding of both the creative and commercial sides of the global film market.
Born in London and raised in Brighton, England, Ruffman began his career in 1997, working with Sega before holding positions at the BBC, ESPN in Costa Rica, and Columbia Pictures in the U.K. He moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and joined Unified Pictures, where he became a partner and helped guide the company's finance and production activities.
His recent credits include Executive Producer on The Beast, directed by Renny Harlin and starring Samuel L. Jackson, Joel Kinnaman, and Guy Burnet, and Tin Soldier, directed by Brad Furman and starring Jamie Foxx, Robert De Niro, and Scott Eastwood. He is also Executive Producer on Unified's animated adventure The Ark and the Aardvark and previously served as Executive Producer on Dragged Across Concrete. Most recently, his work with The Animation Roundtable has extended Unified's engagement with creators, partners, and emerging opportunities across the global animation sector.
